Top 100 in Print have just released their list of 2013 Best Books of the Year: The Top 100 in Print, with Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch officially as their best pick of the year.

Other books that have made the list include: And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled HosseiniLife after Life by Kate Atkinson (nominated for the Women’s Prize for Fiction this year); three works shortlisted on this year’s National Book Award for Fiction: Tenth of December by George Saunders, The Lowland by Jhumpa Lahiri and The Good Lord Bird by James McBrideThe Sound of Things Falling by Colombian writer Juan Gabriel Vásquez;  The Circle by Dave Eggers and MaddAddam by Margaret Atwood.

Apart from The Lowland the list also includes Man-Booker 2013 nominated novels by Colm TóibínNoviolet BulawayoRuth Ozeki, and eventual Man-Booker Novel The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton. Even JK Rowling’s novel, The Cuckoo’s Calling, written under Robert Galbraith, peeps in at number 97.
